FAQs — Birdie Pro & Birdie Glide
Are these scooters legal to use on UK golf courses?
Yes. Both models are classed as multi-use golf scooters/trolleys, not personal buggies. They are designed specifically for golf courses and are safe for turf thanks to wide, low-impact tyres.
Do golf clubs allow these?
Most clubs allow them because:
-
They’re lighter than a buggy
-
They don’t damage turf
-
The Birdie Pro can be used as a walking trolley in winter
If your club has restrictions, we can provide product images/spec sheets to help you get approval.
How far can the scooters travel on one charge?
Birdie Pro: Up to 2 full rounds with its 20Ah lithium battery.
Birdie Glide: Around 18–36 holes depending on terrain and rider weight.
Can they handle hills?
Yes — both models can comfortably climb gradients up to 20°, making them suitable for hilly courses.
Can I use them as standard electric trolleys?
Yes. The Birdie Pro offers walk mode, allowing you to push or let the scooter drive your bag like a normal electric trolley.
How do they fold for transport?
Both models fold down easily to fit in most car boots.
The Birdie Glide also features a modular split-frame design to make lifting even easier.
What warranty do Only Birdies scooters come with?
Every model comes with a 1-year UK-backed warranty and after-sales support directly from us.
Do they come with accessories?
Accessories such as umbrella holders, drink holders and baskets can be added separately.
From time to time we also run launch offers with free accessories included.
What is the difference between Birdie Pro and Birdie Glide?
